Assistant Building Surveyor

About the role

An Assistant Building Surveyor is required to join a long‑established multi‑disciplinary construction consultancy in London. The role supports a varied workload across housing, education, commercial, care and healthcare projects, offering hands‑on experience in surveys, reports, specifications and sustainability‑led work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with building and condition surveys on housing, education, commercial, care and healthcare projects.
• Support retrofit, energy efficiency and sustainability‑led instructions.
• Prepare specifications, technical reports and documentation.
• Assist with contract administration and project delivery.
• Work alongside multi‑disciplinary teams across the consultancy.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related construction/property discipline.
• 1‑2 years post‑graduate experience.
• Commitment to professional development and APC.
• Experience supporting surveying or project instructions in the UK market.
• Ability to work effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams.
