Building & Construction Project Management Placement – 12.5 months

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement is based in the Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE UK) team at Airbus' Filton site. You will support the Head of Building and Construction on a UK‑wide portfolio, helping to manage budgets, forecast spending and drive construction projects that improve the workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Support the site Head of Building and Construction with financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and project delivery following Airbus principles.
• Lead multi‑functional team projects that enable workplace refurbishment and new construction across the site.
• Provide accurate, timely reporting to customers with transparent performance metrics.
• Develop relationships across the plant at all levels to anticipate business needs.

Required profile

• Must be an undergraduate for the entire placement duration and provide a graduation date.
• Studying towards a degree in Project Management, Construction, Building Services, Surveying or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
• Capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders and understanding their viewpoints.
