Assistant Marketing Manager – In‑store Promotions

About the role

Superdrug’s Head Office in Croydon is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to help plan and execute customer‑facing promotional material across its UK and Ireland stores. You will work in a hybrid model, spending part of the week in a modern office near East Croydon Station and the rest working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Create best‑in‑class in‑store marketing plans that attract and retain customers while driving conversion.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Own Brand, Store Operations, external suppliers and agencies to produce promotional material.
• Manage day‑to‑day production of point‑of‑sale material through agencies and suppliers.
• Ensure strategic promotions are communicated clearly and consistently throughout stores.
• Produce briefs for studio artwork teams, agencies and suppliers.
• Coordinate distribution of point‑of‑sale material from creation to store delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with Store Support, Commercial teams, suppliers and agencies.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Manage budgets, negotiate supplier costs and track savings.
• Undertake administrative tasks and support the wider Marketing team as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to develop and execute in‑store marketing plans.
• Strong collaboration skills with commercial, brand and store teams.
• Experience managing production and distribution of point‑of‑sale material.
• Budget management and supplier negotiation capabilities.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate customer communications.
