Associate Director, FX Options Trading

About the role

ANZ is seeking an Associate Director to lead its FX Options (FXO) trading franchise in London. You will be responsible for delivering revenue targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery of FX Options trading revenue targets across the region.
• Grow and strengthen the FXO franchise, expanding market presence and client reach.
• Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key institutional clients.
• Develop leading market positions, expand distribution channels, and drive strategic growth initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, risk limits, and external regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of end‑to‑end operational processes and efficiencies.
• Foster collaboration across sales, structuring, and risk teams, sharing market insights and best practices.
• Uphold strong risk management standards, including AML/KYC adherence and timely issue escalation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in trading both vanilla and first‑generation exotic FX products.
• Strong experience in risk management within FX options trading.
• Track record of building a customer‑focused business and contributing to revenue growth.
• Ability to translate market insights into commercial opportunities and trading strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across sales, structuring, and risk functions.
