About the role
Join S&P Global Energy’s chemicals team in London as an Associate Price Reporter. You will support the development of market coverage for the EMEA chemicals sector, delivering daily price assessments and market commentary.
Key responsibilities
- Produce daily price assessments and market coverage for EMEA chemicals.
- Research new markets and contribute to methodology projects.
- Write commentaries, news stories, podcasts and infographics explaining price trends.
- Engage with market participants, gathering information and building source relationships.
- Help launch new price assessments and represent Platts at industry events.
Required profile
- Strong communication abilities and confidence interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive networking and relationship‑building skills.
- Good numeracy and analytical mindset.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Interest in commodity markets or the chemicals industry; additional European language skills are a plus.
