About the role
We are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join BDO’s audit team. You will work on high‑growth client engagements, delivering high‑quality, transparent audits that stakeholders can rely on while developing your professional qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements and ensure accurate, transparent reporting for clients.
- Supervise and coach junior staff on‑site, managing their work and development.
- Apply UK and International GAAS, IFRS and UK GAAP to audit procedures and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with senior managers, directors and partners to address audit issues and deliver value.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti‑money‑laundering rules.
- Stay informed of current economic and market trends to provide relevant insights.
Required profile
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent overseas qualification.
- University degree or CTS qualification.
- Experience supervising and coaching junior team members.
- Strong knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance matters, including anti‑money‑laundering.
- Awareness of current economic and market trends.
