Audit Product Owner – Remote with Global Travel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Product Owner to join a global accountancy firm. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to London, Europe and the United States, and focuses on safeguarding audit quality while driving product evolution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product backlog for audit platforms, ensuring alignment with audit methodology and quality standards.
• Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to translate audit requirements into clear delivery outcomes.
• Engage senior audit stakeholders to build trust and secure confidence in product changes.
• Monitor and protect audit quality across global deployments of the platform.
• Represent the audit community in transformation and change initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an Audit Reviewer or similar role within a large professional services firm.
• Deep understanding of audit methodology, quality assurance and engagement delivery.
• Proven credibility with senior audit stakeholders.
• Experience working with product owners, transformation or change programmes.

Required skills

• Familiarity with audit platforms such as PwC Aura, KPMG Clara, EY Canvas, Deloitte Omnia, Grant Thornton Leap, BDO Catalyst or RSM Luca.
