Balance Sheet Quality Manager

About the role

The Balance Sheet Quality Manager will support the Group and Regional Financial Controllers and the Interim Balance Sheet Accounting Manager by performing quality checks on global balance sheet reconciliations. You will ensure that the balance sheet governance framework is fully applied and help migrate high‑quality reconciliations to the Oracle ARCS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain feedback from the Interim Balance Sheet Accounting Manager, Financial Control and Transactional Accounting on reconciliation status.
• Support the prioritisation of balance sheet reconciliations for presentation to the Group Financial Controller.
• Lead investigations of unknown balances and drive evidence and accounting resolution.
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of balance sheet work and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Act as point of contact and escalation for finance and non‑finance teams.
• Manage risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Drive continuous‑improvement opportunities across the reconciliation process.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders on operational issues, key metrics and performance KPIs.

Required profile

• Experience in financial control, transactional accounting or related finance functions.
• Ability to perform quality checks on global balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet governance frameworks and IFRS reporting.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively with FC, TA, Tax and FP&A teams across regions.
• Comfortable handling high‑risk or material balances and supporting global stakeholders.
• Analytical and investigative skills to resolve unknown balances.
