BIM Coordinator – Major M&E Projects

About the role

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the digital delivery of large‑scale mechanical and electrical projects. You will work closely with design, engineering and project delivery teams to ensure clash‑free, buildable models across complex M&E schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary MEP models for major construction projects.
• Manage clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and Revit.
• Produce coordinated 2D drawings, sections, schedules and 3D visualisations.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans and ISO 19650 standards.
• Maintain digital information within Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Procore or Viewpoint.
• Support design and project teams throughout delivery, including digital handover and as‑built model development.
• Integrate subcontractor BIM models into master project models and attend coordination meetings.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years’ experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Technician in the M&E / building services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health services.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, ISO 19650 and digital construction processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within project teams.
