Building Surveyor

About the role

Join a global real‑estate consultancy as a Building Surveyor in London, working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, retail and residential assets. You will collaborate with experienced surveyors and consultants, delivering technical advice and expanding your expertise across a range of property types.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts on both small‑ and large‑scale projects.
• Manage and monitor projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct building surveys across offices, industrial sites, retail spaces and residential properties.
• Perform technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
• Handle party‑wall matters and prepare planned maintenance schedules.
• Support client relationships and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification (or working towards it).
• A degree in Building Surveying or a related property discipline.
• Experience delivering building surveying services within a consultancy or property environment.
• Proven experience across commercial property sectors such as office, industrial and retail.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi‑disciplinary surveying team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
