Building Surveyor – Nearly or Newly Chartered

About the role

We are seeking a Building Surveyor who is newly chartered or close to chartership to join a boutique consultancy in the City of London. The role offers hybrid working, client‑facing responsibilities and the chance to influence projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building surveys, contract administration and full project delivery.
• Carry out dilapidations, defects analysis, party‑wall assessments, due‑diligence and reinstatement cost assessments.
• Develop maintenance programmes and manage client relationships.
• Contribute ideas to business development, marketing and the growth of the consultancy.

Required profile

• 4+ years’ experience in building surveying, preferably within a consultancy.
• Newly MRICS qualified or close to chartership.
• Strong technical knowledge and confidence in client‑facing situations.
• Proactive, personable and organised, fitting into a close‑knit team.
