Business Development Manager – Festivals Portfolio

About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to grow sponsorship and exhibition revenue for a leading international technology festival portfolio that attracts over 15,000 attendees and 300 partners each year. Based in London with a hybrid schedule, you will focus on acquiring new enterprise logos and closing high‑value deals.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and win new sponsorship and exhibition contracts with enterprise tech brands.
- Design and execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through discovery, solution design and closing.
- Negotiate and close 5‑ to 6‑figure agreements with senior decision‑makers.
- Build and maintain a self‑generated pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts.
- Utilise social selling techniques and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track activity and drive results.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of new‑business sales experience in sponsorship, exhibitions or solution‑based selling.
- Proven hunter mindset with a record of securing new logos.
- Experience closing 5‑ to 6‑figure deals with enterprise or blue‑chip clients.
- Highly proactive, resilient and commercially driven.
- Strong communication skills and a value‑led selling approach.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
