Cardiology Imaging Fellow – Cardiac CT/MR

About the role

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Cardiology Imaging Fellow to develop expertise in cardiac CT and MRI. The post offers clinical duties, supervision of imaging, and teaching opportunities within a supportive multi‑disciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and produce first‑reports of cardiac CT and MRI scans under consultant oversight.
• Run outpatient clinics and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Contribute to specialty administration, audit and service improvement projects.
• Teach and supervise junior doctors and other clinicians.

Required profile

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Medical degree from a recognised school and relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., MRCP, FRCS).
• ATLS, ALS, APLS or PALS certification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and at least one year of experience in a relevant specialty.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
