Care Assistant

About the role

Audley Care is looking for compassionate Care Assistants to provide high‑quality homecare services that support independence and wellbeing. You will deliver personal care, household support and companionship to customers in Royal Leamington Spa and surrounding villages.

Key responsibilities

• Visit community customers daily and follow their personalised care plans, assisting with bathing, dressing, meals and medication administration.
• Perform household duties such as cooking, laundry, cleaning, ironing and fitness‑support activities.
• Support customers to attend medical appointments, collect prescriptions and provide post‑hospital care.
• Encourage independence, respect dignity and maintain privacy while complying with CQC and safeguarding policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic daily logs and communicate schedule updates via the company app.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for community visits.
• Good knowledge of the local area and ability to prioritise time‑management tasks.
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene in line with company uniform policy.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a company‑provided mobile device and care‑management app.
• Ability to complete electronic daily logs accurately and follow medication instructions.
