Carpenter & Site Supervisor (80/20) – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking a reliable carpenter who can also act as a site supervisor for a commercial fit‑out project across retail units in Birmingham. The role is split 80% carpentry and 20% supervision, with an immediate start required.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out high‑quality 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, including kitchens, tea points, vanity units, bathrooms, doorsets, skirting, architraves and worktops.
• Oversee daily site operations, run inductions, coordinate trades and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain health and safety standards, conduct RAMS reviews and lead toolbox talks.
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for the client, trades and off‑site project managers.

Required profile

• Valid SMSTS certificate (essential).
• First Aid at Work certificate (essential).
• Valid CSCS card (essential).
• Qualified carpenter with experience supervising commercial or retail fit‑out sites.
• Own 110 V power tools/cordless kit and transport to Birmingham.
• Available to start immediately on Monday.
