Casual Conference & Events Waiter/Waitress

About the role

We are looking for a casual Conference and Events Waiter/Waitress to join the events team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a luxury hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge, London. The role involves providing attentive food and beverage service during live conferences and events, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Log and process guests quickly and courteously during events.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of meeting and event service standards.
• Communicate guest comments and unresolved issues to supervisors.
• Apply relevant legislation such as liquor licensing.
• Control and safeguard keys during use.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high‑end hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold luxury standards.
• Flexibility to undertake additional duties or redeployment as needed.
• Ability to contribute to departmental productivity.
