About the role
AG Hotels Group is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for the Lakeside Haydock Hotel in St Helens. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas while supporting other departments when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Clean bedrooms and common areas in line with standard operating procedures.
- Report and coordinate resolution of maintenance issues with the maintenance team.
- Serve food to in‑house guests as required.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Follow all health and safety practices.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management.
Required profile
- Prior experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (preferred).
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cleaning products.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
