Casual Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

The Millennium Hotel Glasgow is seeking a motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join its team. You will help ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, welcoming, and meet the hotel’s high standards of presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clean hotel bedrooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking guest supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and toilet facilities throughout the hotel.
• Assist with laundry duties as required.
• Perform general hotel cleaning tasks and support the housekeeping team wherever needed.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Good communication skills and a pleasant, flexible attitude.
• High standards of attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a flexible rota, including weekends.
