Category Assistant – 12‑Month Placement

About the role

We are looking for a Category Assistant to join our Category Management team for a 12‑month placement starting June 2026. The role supports the team in turning data into insights that drive growth for our juice category across retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Produce weekly sales performance reports for the juice category.
• Analyse seasonal trends and answer business questions such as optimal promotion timing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and retail partners to share findings.
• Maintain and update data sets, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a sandwich or placement year programme.
• Strong interest in FMCG, retail dynamics and consumer behaviour.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for internal meetings and presentations.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, formulas and data visualisation.
• Confident using Microsoft PowerPoint to create charts and present insights.

What we offer

• Fixed annual salary of £29,000 for the duration of the placement.
