CHEP Asset Auditor – Field Audits in Newcastle

About the role

CPM is recruiting a CHEP Asset Auditor to perform independent physical audits of CHEP equipment across Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas. You will work autonomously, travelling to customer sites in retail, distribution and manufacturing environments to verify asset holdings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled physical audits of CHEP equipment at customer locations.
• Accurately count, verify and record assets, documenting any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Plan and manage travel, site visits and appointments across the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders in various operational settings.
• Handle access challenges and sensitive conversations professionally.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy travel schedule.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collecting, recording and reporting information accurately.
• Comfortable working in warehouses, distribution centres or manufacturing sites.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
