Cleaner – Pub Hospitality

About the role

Join the team at J.J. Moon`s pub in Ruislip Manor as a Cleaner. You will ensure every area of the venue is spotless, helping to create a welcoming environment for guests. The role offers flexible shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff rooms and outdoor spaces.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and follow correct procedures.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and alert the manager when replenishment is needed.
• Report any maintenance or pest‑management issues to the manager on duty.
• Interact politely with customers, greeting them and thanking them on departure.
• Participate in induction, role‑specific training and ongoing refresher sessions.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including night hours.
• Over 18 years of age (due to shift patterns and lone working).
