About the role
Arsenal in the Community is seeking a motivated Community Health and Wellbeing Coach on a casual basis to deliver physical fitness sessions and health interventions across the London boroughs of Islington, Camden and Hackney. You will work directly with local residents, including people with long‑term health conditions, to promote active lifestyles.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a variety of health, fitness and wellbeing programmes tailored to community needs.
- Set up, use and maintain fitness equipment safely during each session.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and emergency procedures.
- Attend professional development days to keep sessions engaging and effective.
- Adapt activities for participants of different ages, abilities and medical or mobility requirements.
- Coordinate session logistics and maintain equipment records.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and committed to community health improvement.
- Ability to work with diverse groups, including those with long‑term health conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (basic, standard or enhanced as required).
- Flexibility to deliver sessions across multiple boroughs.
