Community Staff Nurse

About the role

The North East Fife locality community nursing service is seeking an experienced Community Staff Nurse to join its 24/7 team. Working across St. Andrews Pipeland and Blackfriars, you will provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in their homes and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing assessments, treatments and health education to community patients.
• Provide weekend, public‑holiday and evening cover as required.
• Travel across the locality and, when needed, support other areas within the Fife‑wide division.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Community Nursing Team to ensure safe, effective care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current registration.
• Demonstrable experience in community nursing.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Community nursing clinical expertise.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned locality.
