Full‑Time Pharmacist & Independent Prescriber (Multiple Sites)

About the role

This full‑time position supports three community pharmacies located in Cathkin, Dalmarnock and Dumbarton. You will provide cover during holidays and days off, ensuring uninterrupted NHS services such as Pharmacy First Plus, while delivering patient‑centred pharmaceutical care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy cover to maintain smooth delivery of NHS services.
• Prescribe for common conditions in line with Independent Prescriber standards.
• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, upholding professional and regulatory standards.
• Lead on professional standards and collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve service quality.
• Support the implementation of Pharmacy First Plus and other NHS initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to work towards Independent Prescriber qualification if not already held, with company support.
• Full‑time, on‑site availability.
