About the role

Bending Spoons is looking for a driven Controller to own the financial performance mechanisms across its portfolio of digital businesses. You will turn budgets, actuals, and forecasts into clear insights, helping the company scale with rigor while integrating AI‑assisted analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own reliable financial reporting across entities, products, and markets.
• Analyze deviations from budget, forecast, and prior performance, uncovering drivers and recommending actions.
• Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities early.
• Define and refine the most important performance metrics and build a data‑driven performance management approach.
• Design and strengthen financial processes and internal controls with a focus on automation and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong reasoning ability and first‑principles problem solving.
• Capacity to move from “what happened?” to “why it happened and what to do next”.
• Bias against cognitive biases and a structured, analytical mindset.
