Corporate Banking Manager – Swindon

About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a corporate banking portfolio at the Swindon branch. You will manage a diverse range of business customers, primarily property‑lending clients, while driving growth through new business development and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a portfolio of existing and new corporate customers through active prospecting and referral networks.
• Maintain strong relationships with professional firms and business introducers to support sustainable growth.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities across the bank’s product suite and deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead end‑to‑end credit processes, including financial analysis, lending proposals, transaction structuring and credit assessments.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s Credit Policy, Risk Management framework and relevant risk and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to provide the full range of Handelsbanken services to customers.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development and growing a corporate customer portfolio.
• Experience managing a broad portfolio within a relationship‑focused banking model.
• Familiarity with local market dynamics and referral‑based business development.
• Strong ability to influence, build and maintain long‑lasting professional relationships.
