Corporate Tax Senior

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients. You will deliver high‑quality compliance services, support clients through complex tax matters, and ensure technical excellence and outstanding client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and oversee compliance work.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns, including those for group structures.
• Calculate and advise clients on quarterly instalment payments.
• Act as a primary point of contact, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing tax support.
• Liaise with HMRC to resolve client queries and handle communications.
• Prepare and review trust and estate tax returns.
• Review the work of junior team members and support their training and development.
• Assist with workflow management to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislation and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of UK corporation tax.
• Experience preparing and reviewing company tax returns independently.
• Proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks and maintain high client service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
