Counterbalance FLT Driver – Temporary (Stockport)

About the role

Our client in Stockport is seeking a reliable FLT Driver to join a friendly, hardworking team on a temporary ongoing basis. The role primarily involves day‑shift work but may require night shifts when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a counter‑balance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries, including use of a packing machine.
• Perform warehouse tasks such as order picking and industrial cleaning.
• Use machinery to filter stock back into the system and pack deliveries.
• Assist with any additional duties as required by the warehouse team.

Required profile

• Must hold a valid counter‑balance FLT licence.
• Willingness to work day shifts Monday‑Thursday 6 am‑4 pm and Friday 6 am‑4 pm.
• Flexibility to cover night shifts (Monday‑Thursday 8 pm‑6 am, Friday 2 pm‑10 pm) when required.
• Ability to work overtime (time‑and‑a‑half after 37.5 hours) and double time on Sundays.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £12.71.
