Cover Supervisor – Flexible Teaching Role in Chester

About the role
Join Randstad Education as a Cover Supervisor in Chester, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils while teachers are absent. This flexible, full‑time position lets you make a real difference in children’s daily learning experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons planned by the class teacher during their absence.
- Keep pupils focused, motivated, and inspired to learn.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy.
- Assist with lunch and break duties when needed.
- Prioritise student well‑being by reporting safeguarding concerns to the SENCO.
Required profile
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- Previous experience in education or a youth‑facing role (highly advantageous).
- Enhanced Child DBS check (or willingness to apply).
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
