Customer Service Advisor – Hospitality Support

About the role

As a Customer Service Advisor for Rapier Employment in Birmingham (Hams Hall), you will support prestigious UK hospitality clients—including hotels, bars and restaurants—by providing delivery updates, solving issues, handling complaints and managing shortages or damages. This is a full‑time agency position with the potential to become permanent after a successful trial period.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone and email support to hospitality site leads, delivering timely delivery updates.
• Resolve problems, address complaints and coordinate actions for shortages or damaged goods.
• Maintain accurate records using in‑house systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Work rotating day shifts (07:00‑18:30) Monday‑Friday, covering all shift patterns.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in an office or call‑centre environment.
• Strong, friendly telephone manner and professional communication skills.
• Computer literate with ability to learn proprietary systems.
• Fluent English and ability to travel to Hams Hall (limited public transport).
• Previous hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
