Account Manager

About the role

FindCore is supporting a fast‑growing customer support business in Altrincham. This permanent, office‑based position involves handling a high volume of telephone interactions with predominantly older customers, guiding them through application processes and providing compassionate support.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls each day.
• Speak with new enquiries, understand individual circumstances and explain the company’s service clearly and patiently.
• Support older customers who may need additional reassurance or time on the telephone.
• Qualify enquiries and book appointments with the Claims Team.
• Maintain contact with existing customers throughout their journey.
• Keep customer information and CRM records accurate and up to date.
• Deliver excellent service without using a hard‑sell approach.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a telephone‑based customer service, call handling, contact centre or sales role is preferred.
• Confident speaking with older customers and able to build trust and rapport quickly.
• Strong telephone manner with the ability to explain information clearly and simply.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, healthcare or another customer‑focused environment is advantageous but not essential.
