Customer Service Associate – Part‑Time (24 hrs/week)

About the role

The Customer Service Associate works within a property team to deliver an excellent resident experience, supporting marketing, maintenance and tenancy administration on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Works as part of a team to deliver exceptional resident living and support marketing, maintenance and tenancy administration.
• Provides front‑of‑house customer service, handling queries, complaints and ensuring a positive resident experience.
• Supports community events, maintains relationships with university clients and local information resources.
• Performs administrative tasks such as logging maintenance requests, filing notices and updating databases.
• Undertakes marketing activities, attends open days, leaflets the property and conducts viewings and leasing follow‑ups.
• Assists with move‑in/move‑out processes, health‑and‑safety compliance and on‑call emergency support.
• Chases rent arrears, promotes tenancy extensions and other revenue streams, raises purchase orders and processes tenant refunds.

Required profile

• Good general education and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation.
• Excellent customer‑service experience in a client‑facing role.
• Strong relationship‑building, influencing and autonomous decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English, solid organisational and numerical skills.
