Daily Supply SEN Teaching Assistant – East London

About the role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to provide daily supply support across primary schools and specialist provisions in East/Southeast London. The role is temporary, term‑time only, and offers flexible full‑time or part‑time availability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning disabilities.
- Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and confidence.
- Implement behaviour support strategies when required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs.
- Patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to different school settings.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS (or already hold one).
