About the role
Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking an exceptional Vice Principal to join its senior leadership team. This senior role will work closely with the Principal and Executive Principal to drive the highest standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and personal development for all students.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to improve academy performance.
- Lead curriculum development, assessment and whole‑school improvement initiatives.
- Support and develop staff through professional development programmes.
- Analyse data to inform decisions and raise student outcomes.
Required profile
- Successful senior leadership experience in a secondary school.
- Proven track record of raising standards and improving outcomes for disadvantaged and SEND students.
- Strong commitment to inclusion and evidence‑informed practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Ability to analyse and use data effectively for school improvement.
- Experience leading curriculum development and assessment processes.
