Delivery Manager

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Delivery Manager to lead the day‑to‑day delivery of adult learning programmes across the Greater Oxford area. The role involves coordinating venues, managing administrative processes and supporting tutors, learners and partner organisations within a diverse curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee programme administration including student enrolment, venue utilisation and collection of management information.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Faculty, Curriculum Manager and other staff.
• Act as the primary liaison between community partners, staff and learners.
• Implement central systems and procedures to streamline operations.
• Ensure venues are fit for purpose and that staff and learners receive necessary support.
• Collect, analyse and share data as required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date course information and communicate changes.
• Line‑manage the local administration team, including performance reviews and PDPs.
• Contribute to the annual SAR and quality improvement processes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the area.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 / A‑Level or equivalent qualification.
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel between campuses and community venues, with flexibility for evenings during peak periods.
• Strong customer‑service orientation as the first point of contact for staff and external partners.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.

• Competitive salary £38,248‑£39,751 per annum.
• Permanent contract with a 37‑hour week (Monday‑Thursday 7.5 h, Friday 7 h).
