Depot Process and Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Depot Process and Continuous Improvement Manager to lead improvement initiatives across our multi‑site engineering and logistics operation. Reporting to senior engineering leadership, you will assess current processes, develop Lean and 5S strategies and drive cultural change to boost productivity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering and maintenance operations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and deliver site‑wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement 5S, Lean and visual management principles.
• Support depot and production leadership teams in driving operational excellence.
• Coach, mentor and train managers and operational staff.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure successful change adoption.
• Use data and performance metrics to track and demonstrate improvements.
• Embed health and safety improvements into operational processes.
• Ensure improvements are sustained through effective change management.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, Operational Excellence or Process Engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering business change and operational improvement programmes.
• Experience implementing and sustaining Lean methodologies, including 5S.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience coaching managers and operational teams.
