Design Coordinator / Design Manager – Prime Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking experienced Design Coordinators or Design Managers to join leading main contractors on high‑end residential schemes in Surrey and London. The role bridges the gap between consultant design and on‑site construction, ensuring that ultra‑high specification fit‑outs are delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design process from Stage 3 through to construction hand‑over.
• Review, develop and coordinate subcontractor design packages, with a focus on specialist joinery, stone and bespoke finishes.
• Lead the coordination of specialist packages and ensure full integration with the overall project schedule.
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants and site teams to resolve design issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in prime or super‑prime residential, luxury hospitality or comparable sectors.
• Contractor‑side experience or strong Stage 5 coordination background.
• Technical understanding of high‑specification construction detailing.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractor design packages.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
