Design & Technology Teacher (QTS) – Secondary Schools

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Design & Technology teachers to support secondary schools across the Midlands. The role involves delivering Design & Technology curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4, with some placements also covering Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across relevant key stages.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Design & Technology in secondary schools (including early career teachers).
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
- Right to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Design & Technology subjects such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Food Technology, Engineering, Graphics, Construction.
