Desktop Support Engineer – London

About the role

We are a growing technology services business seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our London team. You will work on‑site in a fast‑paced, high‑priority customer environment, providing end‑user support and ensuring smooth operation of critical IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and user support for a major customer environment.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure and desktop issues.
• Manage incidents, service‑desk tickets, requests and escalations.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and uphold service levels.
• Assist with patching, vulnerability management and system maintenance.
• Support M365, Active Directory, Azure AD and Windows environments.
• Collaborate with remote support and infrastructure teams.
• Improve documentation, processes and knowledge‑base articles.
• Support networking troubleshooting and general infrastructure tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Desktop Support, IT Support or Service Desk Engineering.
• Strong Microsoft environment experience (M365, AD, Azure AD, Windows).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working with ITSM ticketing processes.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and users onsite.
