DevOps Engineer - AWS & Terraform

About the role

Worldpay is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its CI/CD Platform Team. You will help build and operate the core platforms that enable engineers across the organisation to deliver software quickly, securely, and at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Design, build, and operate containerised platforms with Docker and Amazon EKS.
• Develop and manage CI/CD tooling, including GitHub Enterprise Runners, CloudBees Jenkins, and Harness.
• Act as the GitHub Subject Matter Expert, governing security, automation, and the adoption of GitHub Copilot.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to shape platform vision and roadmap.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of developer experience.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in DevOps or platform engineering within an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of modern CI/CD practices and cloud‑native architectures.
• Ability to influence standards, drive consistency, and mentor engineering teams.
