DevOps Engineer – Cardiff

About the role

We are seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to join our growing team in Cardiff. The role focuses on building and maintaining Azure‑based CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions, supporting the delivery of .NET and SQL applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams on Azure.NET and SQL workloads.
• Monitor, optimise and ensure reliability of containerised environments (e.g., AKS).
• Maintain technical documentation and track DevOps effectiveness metrics.
• Support Agile‑hybrid delivery models and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the Azure DevOps toolset.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline solutions.
• Solid background in infrastructure‑as‑code, preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with SQL.NET and core Azure services.
• Understanding of DevOps metrics and ability to produce technical documentation.
• Analytical mindset with good technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerisation and cloud technologies.
• Experience working in Agile‑hybrid delivery environments.
