DevOps Engineer – Core Banking Platform

About the role

The Core Banking Platform is modernising its architecture to deliver secure, scalable banking services. As a DevOps Engineer you will design, build and maintain the tooling and processes that enable rapid, high‑quality software delivery across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Harness, Git, Nexus and SonarQube.
• Champion DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, monitoring and observability.
• Support deployment and operation of micro‑services on private and public cloud environments, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker and service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Identify bottlenecks, automate manual processes and drive continuous improvement across engineering teams.
• Ensure robust monitoring, alerting and incident‑response processes to maintain high availability of banking services.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background with deep understanding of DevOps practices and tooling.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines in a regulated, security‑focused environment.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (especially GCP) and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and SRE concepts.
