DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Glasgow)

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with development, QA and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Jenkins‑based CI/CD pipelines (Declarative and Scripted).
• Automate build, test and deployment workflows and integrate them with Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise build infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for continuous integration, delivery, security and compliance.
• Create and maintain documentation for pipelines and DevOps procedures.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Jenkins, including pipeline creation and plugin configuration.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and using shell scripting.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
