Digital Business Lead – Specialist Children’s Services

About the role

The Digital Business Lead will work within Specialist Children’s Services (SCS) covering Community Paediatrics, CAMHS and Acute Paediatrics. The role is focused on creating a digitally enabled environment that supports children, young people and their families, and drives innovation across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop digital initiatives across Specialist Children’s Services.
• Design and improve digital processes within SCS.
• Establish and support digital governance frameworks.
• Drive innovation and new digital ways of working.
• Ensure integrated services so children and families receive the right support at the right time.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Provide encouragement, challenge and digital expertise to the system.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of digital systems, digital governance, and innovation in healthcare.
• Ability to think person‑centred, creatively, and strategically.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership capability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Commitment to improving health and well‑being outcomes for children and young people.
