About the role
We are looking for a Digital Media Teaching Assistant to support creative digital learning within a specialist SEMH provision. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging digital media sessions for young people. The role involves assisting students with digital media lessons while fostering a safe, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support digital media lessons and assist with creative projects.
- Deliver small‑group interventions to encourage creativity and confidence.
- Encourage student creativity and confidence in using digital tools.
- Support behaviour, engagement and promote online safety.
Required profile
- Background in digital media.
- Experience working with SEMH or SEND students.
- Creative mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience using Canva.
- Familiarity with Logic Pro.
- Ability to work with GarageBand or similar audio tools.
