Digital Trading Assistant – eCommerce Optimization

About the role

As a Digital Trading Assistant you will help manage and optimise ASOS’s online retail experience across all devices. Working closely with the Digital Trading Specialist and Manager, you will support day‑to‑day trading activities, improve site navigation, and enhance the customer journey to drive conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain website standards to maximise performance and the customer journey.
• Produce trade reports, including category and search data, and create ad‑hoc reports on customer engagement.
• Analyse performance data to identify optimisation opportunities for the onsite experience.
• Assist in managing and optimising category structures and navigation across channels and devices.
• Support onsite search configuration and enhancements across markets.
• Coordinate homepage, promotional and CRM processes while managing stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver trade events, key initiatives, and campaign launches.
• Help roll out new digital features and products.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Experience with online merchandising systems (preferred but not required).
• Comfortable working in a technology‑driven environment.
• Commercially aware and customer‑obsessed, with initiative and intuition.
• Excellent communication, motivational and leadership skills.
• Keen eye for detail, able to troubleshoot and identify issues.
• Proactive, flexible, agile and open to change.
