Director of Streaming Product and Growth

About the role

This senior position will lead the commercial strategy for a subscription‑based streaming product within a major UK media organisation undergoing digital transformation. You will shape the product proposition, drive revenue growth and influence senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the commercial roadmap, including pricing, positioning and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across product, marketing, analytics, finance and editorial to deliver growth plans.
• Develop and optimise subscription mechanics – acquisition, retention and churn reduction.
• Use data and insights for customer segmentation, performance optimisation and forecasting.
• Influence C‑suite stakeholders to align on strategy and delivery.
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships and product enhancements for long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Strong commercial leadership experience in digital or subscription‑led businesses.
• Proven track record of owning and improving P&L performance in a growth environment.
• Deep understanding of subscription models, pricing, churn management and revenue forecasting.
• Experience working across multiple functions and influencing senior leadership without direct authority.
• Background in streaming, media, gaming, telecoms or other subscription‑driven sectors.
• Broad, generalist mindset with exposure to marketing, product and analytics.
