About the role
We are looking for a friendly, engaging and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a well‑established two‑form entry primary faith school in Northfield, Birmingham. The role supports the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and works closely with teachers to create a nurturing learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering EYFS lessons and activities.
- Support children’s personal, social and academic development.
- Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom environments.
- Help monitor and record children’s progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years CACHE qualification.
- Passion for early childhood education and development.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential.
