Electrical Installation Assessor – Home Based (£40‑£50/hr)

About the role
We are seeking experienced Electrical Installation Assessors to work from home while supporting apprentices in their NVQ qualifications across the West Midlands. You will travel locally to conduct workplace visits, assess progress and provide coaching to help learners succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out on‑site visits to review apprentices' electrical work and complete formal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching and mentoring to apprentices.
- Maintain your own diary and schedule travel within a one‑hour radius of your base.
- Collaborate with colleges, universities and training providers to ensure assessment standards are met.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
- Current or recent experience in electrical installation (TAQA, A1/D32/D33 preferred).
- Assessor qualification advantageous but not mandatory for all contracts.
- Strong communication skills, full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
