Electrician – EICR Testing & Remedials (North West)

About the role

We are seeking qualified electricians to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and associated remedial works for social housing properties across the North West. The role involves visiting occupied domestic homes, testing electrical installations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform EICR testing in domestic properties.
• Identify defects and complete remedial works.
• Carry out electrical repairs and installations as required.
• Ensure all work complies with BS7671 regulations.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site.
• Communicate professionally with tenants and housing association staff.
• Manage van stock, materials and provide accurate certification and reports.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Relevant City & Guilds qualifications (C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365 or equivalents; City & Guilds 2391, 2394, 2395).
• Proven experience in EICR testing and remedial work.
• Strong knowledge of current wiring regulations (BS7671).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good IT and reporting abilities.
